Okay, real talk: The Supreme Court didn’t do what Joe Arpaio says it did. As Adam Serwer explains, Justice Kennedy’s opinion states that the “papers, please” portion of the bill “might be unconstitutional, but the high court wants to wait and see how this part of the law is enforced.” (His whole take is worth a read.)

Odds of this portion of the bill ending up in court again: Very high. Likelihood that Joe Arpaio is wrong about something: Absolute.
